Getting to and From Campus
The island of Oahu is also known as the City and County of Honolulu. is the City and County's affordable and convenient public transportation system. HPU's Downtown campuses are easily accessible by TheBus. The downtown campus is located among major bus corridors offering frequent bus service to all areas of the island.
The UPass is a reduced rate student bus pass sticker placed on a student's HPU ID card. For more information about the transportation fee and UPass program, click here.
The shuttle provides free transportation for students, faculty, and staff between campuses. Click here for the current schedule.
When boarding the shuttle from either shuttle stop, please be sure to board in numerical seating order as posted on the benches to ensure that the persons who arrived first to the shuttle stop are seated first. Please be ready to show the driver your HPU identification upon boarding. Upon seating, we recommend you fasten your seatbelt.

RICHARD'S STREET RESERVED STALL – LIMITED ASSIGNED PARKING STALL

- This parking option allows for parking in a LIMITED assigned stall 7 days a week, 24 hours and overnight.
- Monthly hang tag is required (pick up from the parking office) and must always be visible while parked.
- Vehicle is subject to tow if hang tag is not visible.
MOPED & BIKE PARKING
There are (2) locations on property that students can park bikes and mopeds free-of-charge. The parking locations are the bike racks at the corner of Aloha Tower Drive & Bishop Street and the bike racks at the entrance to the lot at Piers 5/6. It is advised you lock your bike or moped to prevent against theft. Anything parked in either of these locations is parked at the sole risk of the owner of the bike or moped.

is a round-trip, station-based service available to users 24/7 from Toyota Connected North America and Servco Pacific Inc. Hui vehicles can be reserved by the minute or day. To utilize Hui, a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required. All HPU students over 18 years of age are eligible to drive, subject to other membership requirements. Users simply need to onto their mobile phone, register as a member, then search for the nearest vehicle and reserve a date and time. Gas, insurance, parking at the station, 24-hour roadside assistance, and a 24-hour call center are all included in the hourly rate of the vehicle. There are currently about 95 vehicles on Oahu spanning from Ko Olina to Kaimuki, including Aloha Tower Marketplace across from Pier 8.
is Honolulu’s new transportation system, brought to you by Bikeshare Hawaii. Biki has 1,300 bikes at 130 conveniently located self-service “Biki Stops” throughout downtown Honolulu, including Aloha Tower Marketplace across from Pier 8. Biki bikes are designed to be easy to maneuver, comfortable and fun to ride, while accommodating riders of all sizes. Honolulu is the first city in the world to have this new generation of bike.
