Graduation and Diplomas
DEGREE CONFERRALS AND DIPLOMAS
Students who are completing their degree requirements by the end of a given term must complete a Petition to Graduate (PTG) application. The PTG must be completed at the beginning of the preceding Spring term in order to graduate in Fall (December) or Winter (January), and at the beginning of the preceding Fall term in order to graduate in Spring (May) or Summer (August). Filing a PTG by the published deadline is a graduation requirement. Please check the HPU website for updated deadline dates each semester. Petition to Graduate All financial obligations to the university must be cleared in order to receive diplomas and official transcripts.
Degrees are conferred at the end of the term in which all degree requirements, including filing a PTG, are completed.
Students who have their degree conferred for the Fall or Winter term can expect their diplomas to arrive in March.
Students who have their degree conferred for the Spring term can expect their diplomas to arrive in August.
Students who have their degree conferred for the Summer term can expect their diploma to arrive in November.
Mailing Address
Diplomas are mailed to the diploma mailing address indicated on the PTG application. Once a PTG has been submitted, please notify the Registrar's Office of any changes immediately by emailing ptg@hpu.edu. The diploma mailing address cannot be updated via my.HPU.edu.
Important: The Å·ÃÀAƬ is not responsible for undeliverable diplomas. Once the diploma is shipped, it is the responsibility of the shipping/delivery company (DHL, USPS, etc.). Lost/misdirected and/or damaged diplomas may result in having to request and pay for additional diplomas.
DIPLOMA REORDER
Additional diploma fee is $63 per diploma, $73 with a diploma cover. Please see the options below for information on how to request an additional diploma.
For Domestic Orders: (Within the United States and its Territories)
Domestic orders for additional diplomas can be made through our online storefront . An expedited shipping option via UPS is available for an additional $60 shipping fee. Payment must be made using a valid credit or debit card. All fees are per diploma. Bulk shipping is not available.
For International Orders:
Please fill out the Additional Diploma Reorder Form and e-mail to ptg@hpu.edu. Further information on shipping options and price quotes will be provided once we receive your form. Payment for International Orders must be made by check or money order.

Official Transcripts
Official transcripts are official certification of degrees earned. To indicate degrees on official transcripts, click on “hold for degree” when submitting requests. Transcripts will be sent after the degrees are awarded providing all financial obligations are met.
