Dr. Laslovich lives in San Diego, CA, and works remotely as a full time faculty in the DPT program at Hawai’i Pacific Å·ÃÀAƬ. Prior to HPU, Dr. Laslovich served as a full time faculty member within the Physical Therapy Department at the Å·ÃÀAƬ of St. Augustine, and additionally as an adjunct faculty in PT Programs at California State Å·ÃÀAƬ, Fresno, San Diego State Å·ÃÀAƬ, and West Coast Å·ÃÀAƬ.

 

During his more than 25 years of full time clinical practice, Dr. Laslovich has worked across acute care, sports medicine, and orthopedic practice settings before forming an outpatient private PT practice partnership specializing in orthopedic, sports, pedorthic, and foot/ankle problems of all types for twenty years.

 

Dr. Laslovich’s main research interests involve the physiological roles of physical activity and sedentarism on vascular endothelial function and the relationships of physical activity and perceived wellness in individuals living with vascular disease. Additionally, he is currently involved in research surrounding the relationships of hormonal effects and knee ligamentous changes on muscle activation patterns in younger adult females.

 

Beyond his role as a Physical Therapist, Dr Laslovich is also a certified Pedorthist and continues to utilize his training and knowledge in the application of orthotic and footwear interventions for individuals with metabolic, structural, and biomechanical dysfunctions related to foot and ankle functions.
