PROGRAMS OF STUDY
Doctor of Physical Therapy
The Hawai‘i Pacific 天胆A頭 Innovative Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program is the first of its kind in Hawai‘i. The Program is delivered in 24 months using a hybrid format, combining the best of online learning with in-person lab immersions located 天胆A頭's beautiful downtown Honolulu campus.
Doctor of Occupational Therapy
The Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program is delivered over the course of two years combining the highest level of online learning with in-person lab immersions, allowing students to remain in their communities and become a member of the HPU ‘ohana. Students complete Fieldwork all over the country, culminating their time in the program with the Doctoral Capstone project and experience.
- Learning occurs over 24 months in a, hybrid environment, allowing students to remain in their communities
- Program is offered at two campuses with differing start dates: Honolulu, HI and Las Vegas, NV
- Collaborate with students, faculty, community members and other health professions
- Doctoral capstone experience provides in-depth experience and knowledge based on the students’ interest

Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant
The Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant (MMS-PA) Program is committed to preparing physician assistants to care for communities in Hawai‘i and underserved populations. This program is a rigorous, full-time, 24-month, program of study culminating in the Master of Medical Science (MMS) degree.
- Didactic year is delivered in a hybrid format, with a combination of remote and in-person learning
- Daily synchronous and asynchronous engagement with experienced faculty
- 1-2 week-long immersions on HPU’s downtown Honolulu campus
- Eight intensive, hands-on supervised clinical practice experiences across seven required disciplines
- Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusivity with a focus on the unique needs of the communities of Hawaiʻi
