On September, 20, 2024, HPU unveiled its new 20,000 square-foot science complex, the "Downtown Science Laboratories" on Fort Street Mall. A blessing ceremony was held before the grand opening event that featured speakers HPU President John Gotanda, Avalon Group CEO and President Christine Camp, HPU Acting Provost and Professor Brenda Jensen, Ph.D., and HPU Board Chair Lance Wilhelm.
