The HPU Career Connects hiring event successfully welcomed students and alumni to campus yesterday, offering opportunities to explore full-time and part-time positions, as well as internships. Attendees engaged in conversations with representatives from a wide range of industries, including business, healthcare, hospitality, government, education, and technology.
Among the organizations in attendance were New York Life, Hawaiian Electric Company, Waikiki Telecom, King Lunalilo Trust, and United Healthcare. Steven Sasaki, a partner at New York Life in Honolulu and an HPU alumnus, met with students and alumni to discuss career paths in financial services and share insights from his own professional journey.
HPU organizes hiring events throughout the year, providing students with opportunities to connect with employers, review resumes and cover letters, and explore career options. The February 26 event was one of many initiatives designed to help students and graduates navigate their professional futures.
